Old Montreal is one of the main tourists´ attraction of Montreal. Narrow streets, old stone buildings bring it´s visitors an atmosfere of the old days. Actually just a few early buildings (mid 1600) remain today, most of them are from the 17th century to early 20th century. If the weather is good Old Montreal can be very touristy, full of visitors and local families coming for special events (many of them take place in Old Port of Montreal), or just for a walk or biking.
