Forbidden City is a former imperial palace. The construction of the palace was conducted between 1407-1420. This complex covers 74 hectares and is the world´s largest palace. The wall surraunding palace has a gate on each side. The distance between southen and nothern gates is 960 meters, between eastern and western - 750 meters.
