Chi Lin Buddhist Nunnery in Diamond Hill, New Kowloon, Hong Kong , founded in the 1930s to provide religious, cultural, educational, and elderly care services to the Hong Kong community. The nunnery was reopened in 2000 after a multimillion-dollar renovation . Its buildings were built without the use of a single nail in its construction. This is based on a unique architectural style from the Tang Dynasty. The Nunnery is also famous for its beautiful golden statues and its garden.
