Cheung Chau is a small dumbell-shaped island 10 km southwest of Hong Kong. This is a pleasant place to escape from the busy city life.It is basically free of motor traffic, and local people ride their own bikes or just walk. You can walk around the island in a day, it´s only half a square kilometer in size. Many visitors also rent a small boat to visit surraunding bays.
