There are no roads and hence, no automobiles (exception - fire trucks and ambulances) on Lamma island. The community´s only transport - foot or bicycle. Lamma provides an alternative to the busy life-style in the city.People leave their bicycles, take a ferry and go to Hong Kong to work.
