Roman Forum is situated in the lowland between Palatine and Capitol Hills. During many centuries it was a place of the most important events in the life of the city. In the beginning it was just a minor market square, but later it turned to be a center of commercial and political life. Today you can see remains of ancient temples, palaces, stadiums, and other constructions.
