Fordham University is a private, coeducational research university with three campuses located in and around New York City. This university is officially an independent institution "in the Jesuit tradition". It was originally founded by the Diocese of New York in 1841 as St. John´s College. Enrollment at Fordham University includes more than 8,000 undergraduate students and 7,000 graduate students. Fordham University is composed of four undergraduate colleges and six graduate schools.
